Henry Spiering : ウィキペディア英語版 | Henry Spiering Henry Spiering (June 7, 1830 – June 16, 1908) was an American editor and politician. Born in Brandenberg, Prussia, Spiering emigrated with his parents to the United States in 1846 and went to Milwaukee, Wisconsin Territory. In 1849, Spiering settled in Mayville, Wisconsin. Spiering was a printer and editor of the newspapers: Horicon Volksfreund and the Horicon News. Spiering served as chairman of the Williamstown, Wisconsin Town Board and as the Williamstown town treasurer. He also served as clerk and president of the village of Maysville. In 1879, 1883, and 1887, Spiering served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and was a Republican.
